Trees Must Be Cut

U.S. Forest Service officials say more than 180 trees must be cut down from one of the most popular trails in the Giant Sequoia National Monument. They say the trees along the Trail of 100 Giants are dead and pose a threat to the public. None of the trees is a giant sequoia.
