Mother Lode Pair Hurt In Cycle Crash

Two Mother Lode area residents were injured Friday afternoon when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a car on Highway 49 in Angels Camp.
The crash, on the 300 block of Main Street, sent 56 year-old Sylvia Bryan and 49 year old Donald Burris both of Jackson to the hospital with serious injuries. CHP reports a car driven by a 17 year-old Copperopolis boy pulled out of a shopping center parking lot, hitting the motorcycle.
The injured riders were airlifted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.
