Sonora, CA — Central Sierra Broadcasting will air a series of candidate forums ahead of the November Election.
The first round of forums, airing over consecutive days, will feature US Congress CA District 5; Tuolumne County Supervisor District 2; and Calaveras County Supervisor District 5.
The forums will be recorded over the coming week and then air in their entirety later on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML and be available for playback anytime on myMotherLode.com.
In the House District 5 race, both Republican incumbent Tom McClintock and Democratic challenger Michael Masuda have confirmed they will take part. Both of the Tuolumne County Supervisor candidates, incumbent Ryan Campbell and Juli Healy, have also confirmed. In the Calaveras County District 5 Supervisor race, only Bruce Giudici has relayed that he will take part. The other candidate is Clyde Clapp.
If you would like to submit a question for consideration to be asked in any of the forums, email it to news@csbroadcasting.com by early next week. You need to include your first name and the race it is intended for. All questions must be something that both candidates running would be able to answer (not specific to one person).
Central Sierra Broadcasting is also planning a second round of forums in early October featuring the California Senate District Four race and some of the competitive local special district races.
