Boxer Leads Jones In New Senate Race Poll

A new statewide poll shows incumbent Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer has maintained a double-digit lead over G-O-P challenger Bill Jones in a race most Californians aren´t paying much attention to.
With a month to go before the November Second election, Boxer is favored by 48 percent of likely voters to 32 percent for Jones.
A Field Poll released this morning shows Jones´ numbers have only marginally improved since May.
In what was once considered a key race for California Republicans, the effort to remove the liberal Boxer from office is proving an uphill battle.
