Home Damaged By Lightning Strike

A Longbarn home was struck by lightning overnight. Tuolumne County fire officials say luckily no one was injured when the bolt hit a nearby tree and electrical energy passed into the house on Scenic Drive. They say there was no fire or major damage except for some heat damage to wall receptacle and appliances.
