He Killed Mom Over Debt

A Kern County jury has found a Bakersfield teen-ager guilty of murder in the first degree in the stabbing death of his mother. Sixteen-year-old Parker Chamberlain faces 26 years to life in prison at sentencing. Prosecutors say Chamberlain killed her because she owed him money – between $60 and $80.
