Vallejo Man Dies On Maui

A Vallejo man has died in a crash of his bicycle on the island of Maui. Police say 72-year-old Robert Burkhart and members of his family were with a Mountain Riders tour group, when he lost control of his bike. It hit a guardrail and the Vallejo man was thrown down a 40-foot embankment yesterday. He was pronounced dead at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
