Flag Pole Can Stay

A man who was ordered by the Forest Service to take down a flagpole near his cabin in the Sierra east of Placerville has been told he can keep it after all. David Knickerbocker learned yesterday that Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman had reversed the order.
