DUI Charge For Valley Springs Man

A Valley Springs man has been charged with drunk driving, after an accident on Vista Del Lago. Highway patrol officers say 78 year old George Mooney received moderate injuries when his car hit a trash can, fire hydrant, stop sign and street marker at the intersection with Grouse yesterday afternoon. The car went down an embankment from there, and stopped at the bottom of a creek. Mooney was arrested after being treated for head, face and hand injuries.
