More Teen Drinking In Well-off Suburbs

A new study indicates there´s a link between the burden of expectations placed on well-off suburban teens and their attraction to alcohol. The study of tenth graders was published this fall in the journal of Child Development. It found more anxiety, depression and higher levels of alcohol and drug abuse in an unidentified affluent suburb compared with the nation as a whole.
