Davis Releases Power Contracts

California Governor Gray Davis has released the roughly 600 page stack of contracts with 18 electricity
providers today after months of saying the documents were to be kept secret. Nearly 43 billion dollars in state energy contracts lock California into what are
likely to be higher-than-market prices for the next 10 years.
