Health Officials Act Against Meningitis

Alameda County health officials will again be at Livermore High School to offer a preventive clinic against
meningitis.
Hundreds of students mourned the death of their classmate,16-year-old Michael Gordon, last week. Gordon died after being diagnosed
with a strain of meningitis.
Two other infections also have been reported, and health officials tomorrow will offer antibiotics to students and staff
members who missed earlier clinics.
