Lifelong Sonoran Dead at 72

72-year-old Benny Bahten, a lifelong Sonora resident, died yesterday At Beverly Healthcare. He was a
member of the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Posse, and the Sonora Elks and Rotary.
Bahten worked as a cowboy for the Joe Martin Sr. and Sanguinetti
ranches, and was later a manager for Central Motors. He also owned his own car dealership for many years.
No services will be held at his
request.
