Killer Rapist Could Get Death

A Sacramento jury will begin hearing evidence today to decide whether to spare the life of a man convicted of killing an 81-year-old woman with a machete and raping her granddaughter. The jury decided yesterday that Tamecus Reed did not suffer from a mental defect. Now Reed now faces the death penalty or life in prison without parole.
