Sonora, CA — Due to smoke from the Rim Fire, a major retailer is closed today.
Store Manager Jennifer Gordon says the building is older and the ventilation system is having trouble managing the heavy smoke. Gordon says the closure is being done for the safety of customers and employees. The Sonora Walmart is hoping to reopen on Sunday.
