Arrest In Arnold Stabbing

Arnold, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest regarding the stabbing of an Arnold man.
As reported previously, a 63-year-old man was stabbed in a home on May 5th in the 2600 block of El Dorado Drive. He suffered non-life threatening injuries. Detectives have arrested a suspect, 55-year-old Raymond Scott Irby. Irby was already in Calaveras County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and burglary at the time of his new charges. He is now being held on $500,000 bail. An investigation is ongoing.
