Vegetation Fire Calaveras County

Valley Springs, CA — Firefighters and Columbia Air Attack are heading to a vegetation fire in Valley Springs on Highway 12. The flames broke out in front of the Zippy Mart near Lime Creek Road. Cal Fire reports it is a 3 to 4 acre fire. There is no word if any structures are threatened at this time.
Update 12:45 pm: Cal Fire reports the fire is contained at 5 acres. No structures were threatened.
