Mysterious Bones Uncovered Found To Be Deer

Sonora, CA — Last week the Sonora Police Department responded to Sonora High School because some bones were uncovered by construction workers making renovations to the stadium.
Upon initial review, the officers did not believe the bones were human remains, but felt it was best to send them to a lab in the Central Valley for further review and investigation. Police Chief Mark Stinson reports that the results are back and they were determined to be of a deer.
Had it been human remains, or a Native American burial ground been discovered, it could have complicated construction at the school.
