Candidate Forums Available For Playback Ahead Of Election
Sonora, CA — Ballots will be mailed out next week, and early voting starts on Monday (October 7) for the November General Election.
A series of candidate forums aired over recent weeks on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML focusing on three regional races. It kicked off on September 18 with a debate between the Congressional District 5 candidates, Republican incumbent Tom McClintock and Democratic challenger Mike Barkley.
September 25th was the two candidates running for Assembly District 8, both Republicans, George Radanovich and David Tangipa.
Last night, October 2, featured the five candidates seeking one of three seats on the Angels Camp City Council, Mary Kelly, Scott Behiel, Caroline Schirato, Michael Chimente, and Michael Fish.
There will also be an encore airing of the Assembly District 8 forum this coming Wednesday, October 9, at 6 pm on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML.
