Update: A Windy Forecast For The Sierra Nevada
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the western slope of the northern Sierra Nevada and Yosemite National Park (above the valley floor), through 7 AM this morning (Wednesday).
Winds of twenty to thirty mph will continue at times, with gusts ranging from forty to sixty mph. The higher you ascend, the stronger the wind.
North to east winds will remain gusty through the morning hours, before becoming breezy later in the day.
Secure outdoor objects as such gusty winds will blow them around. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution while driving. Be alert during all outdoor activities.
