Vegetation Fire On Highway 49.

Calaveras, CA– A small fire broke out in some grass near Highway 49 and O’Connell Lane south of San Andreas. Fire resources were able to quickly stop the forward progress of the fire, which remained at an estimated quarter of an acre. Crews will be in the area mopping up.
