Forward Progress Stopped Quickly In Copperopolis Fire

Copperopolis, CA– A vegetation fire’s forward progress was quickly stopped in Copperopolis which was located 1/2 mile east of Reeds Turnpike. The fire, dubbed the Pyle fire,  had a slow rate of spread, with air and ground resources stopping the forward progress at an estimated 2-3 acres. Crews will remain in the area mopping up.
