Traffic Alert: Motorists Could Face Lengthy Delays
Groveland, CA — Travelers could see wait times of 20 minutes as the Tuolumne County Bridge Preventative Maintenance Project continues next week in the Groveland area.
The county has hired American Civil Constructors West Coast, LLC out of the Bay area to conduct preventative maintenance on eleven county bridges, as earlier reported here. Next week crews will be working on Ferretti Road at Big Creek Bridge. The hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. beginning Monday, October 8, through Wednesday, October 10th. Motorists could face up to 20 minute delays during those hours.
The bridges targeted for repairs are along Jacksonville, Jamestown, Ferretti, Wards Ferry, Rock River, Yosemite, South Fork, Horseshoe Bend, Sprague, Clarks Fork roads and Paseo De Los Portales. Repairs have already been made this summer on several of those bridges, as earlier detailed here. The project is schedule to continue through the end of this month. The county asks drivers to “be aware of all construction signs or traffic control personnel in the construction zone.”
