Update: Comcast Enterprise Outage Impacts Businesses

Update at 2:15 p.m.: Comcast reports the internet service has been restored the more than ten enterprise businesses that were impacted by an outage the struck around 10:30 a.m. Clarke Broadcasting was informed that crews arrived at the equipment site in the Sonora area around 1 p.m. and it took about 50 minutes of repairs before internet service was restored. The company did not give a cause for the outage that lasted about 3 1/2 hours. The myMotherLode.com website was down during the outage. 

Update at 1 p.m.: Comcast confirms to Clarke Broadcasting that it is impacting more than 10 business customers in Tuolumne County. What caused the outage remains under investigation. A crew has reached the equipment site in Sonora. The outage is impacting myMotherLode.com. We’ll update the outage as soon as new information comes into the news center.

Original post at 10:45 a.m.: Sonora, CA — Comcast confirms that there is an internet outage impacting business customers in Tuolumne County.

It is not immediately clear what caused the outage, but the company states that it is under investigation. The outage is impacting myMotherLode.com. We’ll pass along more information as it becomes available.
