Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — At Tuesday’s Calaveras County Supervisors meeting the board will talk about road projects that they would like to see included in the list that will be funded by SB 1, which increased the state’s gas tax.

Also on the agenda is the creation of an ad hoc committee to assist in the facilitating and prioritizing county infrastructure related projects. There will also be an emergency vote to repair the roofs of three buildings on the government center campus in San Andreas that have been experiencing leaks.

On the issue of fire, there will be a presentation on efforts to repair damaged roads within the Butte Fire footprint. In addition, representatives from the University of Nevada will be on hand to deliver a presentation about state-of-the-art fire detection cameras being developed to help firefighters and other emergency responders.

Tuesday’s meeting starts at 9am at the government center in San Andreas. Prior to the meeting, at 8am, the board will go into closed session to discuss a handful of items, including the ongoing search for a new CAO.
