Hanvelt Settles Into Supervisor Position

Sponsored by:

Tuolumne County District Two Supervisor, Randy Hanvelt, has been comfortably settling in to his new position.

Hanvelt was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

District Two covers Willow Springs, Soulsbyville, Phoenix Lake, Crystal Falls and the territory from the Stanislaus River to Alpine County.

Hanvelt ran for the position as he thinks of himself as an ordinary citizen who believes that government should benefit society and not burden it.

Hanvelt said that he still expects a lot of learning with some on-the-job training. He appreciates the experience and guidance from Supervisors Dick Pland and Liz Bass.

“We have a very good Board of Supervisors” Hanvelt said. “I appreciate each and every one of them for their honesty and advice. I also enjoy the leadership of Tuolumne County Administrator Craig Pedro.”

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
