“Filling The Boot” For MDA

Sonora, CA– Today CDF Firefighters L2881 and Cal Fire will be holding a “Fill The Boot” fundraiser at two locations in Sonora.
Cal Fire’s Barry Rudolph says firefighters will be accepting donations in support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) from 9 am to 2 pm at the corner of Greenley and Sanguinetti Roads and on Mono Way at the Junction Shopping Center.
Last year CDF Firefighters IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) Local 2881 in Tuolumne and Calaveras County raised $17,000 for MDA. All funds raised were returned to our communities in support of those afflicted with this disease.
Statewide last year CDF Firefighters raised $477,734.31for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
