Construction Work On Old Wards Ferry Road

Sonora, CA– Construction is underway at the new Sonora Law and Justice Center site.
Now through mid-October, Old Wards Ferry Road will be closed to traffic as crews will be installing the infrastructure for the project.
The Tuolumne County Public Works Department says the closure is from the north edge of the overpass of Highway 108 to a point approximately 3000 ft. south of the overpass.
Motorists needing to access Old Wards Ferry Road during the closure, should take the suggested detour from the light at Washington Street/Highway 108 to Lime Kiln Road, to Jacobs Road connecting with Old Wards Ferry Road.
