Fireman’s Fun Day In Angels Camp

This year’s Fireman’s Fun Day in Angels Camp is dedicated to all past members who have passed away.

Chairperson Liz Brown, was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.

This is an annual fundraising event that began forty-nine years ago and the public is invited to Utica Park on Saturday to help support the men and women who protect the community. Money collected will support the Firefighters Association and the scholarship fund.

The activity will begin at 10:00AM and continue through 6:00PM. Beef & Chicken-in-a-barrel dinner (as fixed by the firemen) will be served from noon until 6:00PM.

Dinner will also include spaghetti, salad, bread and coffee, tea or milk.

Presale adult tickets available on Friday are $12.00 and $6.00 for children. Tickets will also be made available tomorrow, on the day of the event for $15.00 (adult) and $7.00 children.

Fire Engine rides through Angels Camp will be made available for both the children and the adults.

Additionally there will be information booths, fire prevention material, membership information, a raffle for prizes, a small frog jump, bingo and old fashioned game booths.
