Donations Needed For ATCAA Food Baskets
Sonora, CA– The ATCAA Food Bank is in desperate need of food items for their holiday food baskets.
“We are expecting 2,000 Tuolumne County families in need, and we’re short of about 1,000 units of pie filling and stuffing,” said ATCAA Spokesperson Tim Reis.
Reis says donations of needed items can be dropped off now until December 12th in red collection barrels at all Sonora supermarkets. ATCAA volunteers will also be conducting food drives at Safeway, lower Save Mart and Grocery Outlet this weekend.
In addition, donations of pie filling and stuffing mix can be brought to the ATCAA Food Bank in Jamestown located at 10059 Victoria Way, across from the Humane Society.
“We just want to feed as many needy families as possible right now,” said Reis. “And we would really appreciate the community’s help.”
