New Wellness Center In Sonora
Sonora, CA– Sonora Regional Medical Center’s Live Well Be Well Center made its debut Wednesday afternoon at a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new facility located at 19747 Greenley Road, is a team of physicians, nutritionists, exercise physiologists and wellness experts all under one roof. The Center also includes wellness classes, a cardiac rehabilitation gym and nutritional therapy.
Fred Mathews, Chairman of the Live Well Be Well Council said, “To my knowledge there isn’t a facility quite like this in Sonora. Health care in America in general has been focused on taking care of you when you’re sick, rather than preventing you from getting sick. I hope this is something the community can really get behind. I’m really happy that Sonora Regional has chosen to take this direction for our community.”
The ribbon cutting event featured a demonstration of healthy foods, music, tours and information about the center’s classes and support groups covering topics such as family fitness, diabetes, first aid/CPR, weight loss and tobacco cessation.
