Detroit, MI — Beleaguered General Motors announced today that 1.5 million vehicles will be recalled due to a potential fire hazard.
A number of the vehicles recalled are no longer in production. Vehicles being recalled include the 1998-99 Oldsmobile Intrigue, the 1997-2003 Buick Regal along with the 1998-2003 Chevrolet Lumina, Monte Carlo and Impala. The recall involved cars with a 3.8 liter V-6 engine.
