Long Barn Resident Arrested For Firing Shotgun In Residence

Long Barn, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in Long Barn early Tuesday morning and arrested a man after he fired a shotgun through a bedroom wall.
The Sheriff’s Office says 55-year-old Timothy Michael Duston was allegedly in the middle of a dispute with his estranged wife, and he was using the shotgun to threaten her.
When deputies arrived, Duston was taken into custody without incident and charged with discharging a weapon with negligence, exhibiting a deadly weapon and threatening to commit a crime.
No one was injured in the incident.
