CAL Fire Responds To Two Monday Morning Fires

San Andreas, CA — During the six o´clock hour this morning CAL Fire crews responded to a structure fire in an unoccupied rental home in Sierra Village.
The fire was quickly contained. Resources included seven engines, three water tenders and a battalion chief. Crews used an interior attack to fight the blaze.
Later this morning downed power lines caused a small fire in the area of Hwy 49 and Pool Station Rd. that slowed traffic. P.G.& E. cut power in behalf of the firefighters´ efforts.
No injuries have been reported for either fire.
