Moreno’s Fate May Be Determined Today In Calaveras County

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors are scheduled for a closed session this morning regarding the fate of Community Development Director Stephanie Moreno.

Last week a number of developers, builders and realtors aired their views concerning a virtual standstill in construction and development in the county, much of it thanks to Moreno´s department and the supervisorial board which followed her lead on a number of issues.

Also at today´s meeting; the announcement that Caltrans has granted the county $1.1 million for Mountain Ranch Rd. improvements and the county over the next year will be receiving $150,000 in tobacco use and prevention education funds from the California Department of Health Services.

Today´s meeting gets underway at 9am at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
