Recruitment Underway For Telegraph Fire Volunteers

Sonora, Ca — For residents hoping to help those affected by the Telegraph Fire near Yosemite, a local effort is in place to assign volunteers to different jobs.
Amy Falken with the Sierra Non-Profit Support Center says their organization has been asked by the state to lead the volunteer effort locally.
Falken says anyone interested in volunteering should go to www.sierranonprofit.org to fill out an online form. Volunteers are asked not to show up near Telegraph Fire without a specific job. There is also information on website about ways to donate financially.
