Small Vegetation Fires Quickly Contained

San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Emergency Command Captain Andy Murphy two small vegetation fires were quickly extinguished this afternoon.
The first occured on Mountain Springs Rd. near Campo Seco near the old county dump. Size of the fire has been listed under a half-an-acre. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The second fire was located in the West Point area off Dogwood Pass Rd. It measured a quarter-of-an-acre in size. The cause of this fire also remains under investigation.
