Mother Lode Blessed With No Thanksgiving Weekend Traffic Fatalities

Jamestown & San Andreas, CA — The respective C.H.P. offices in Tuolumne and Calaveras counties did not report a single traffic related fatality over the four day, 102 hour Maximum Enforcement Period for the Thanksgiving weekend.
According to Officer Tom Wills Tuolumne County registered four arrests for driving-under-the-influence while Calaveras County, according to Officer Jaime Castillo, documented five driving-under-the-influence arrests.
Statewide figures for traffic related deaths, accidents and arrests for driving-under-the-influence may be released later today.
