80 Employees Loses Jobs With Auto Dealership Closure

Sponsored by:

Jackson, CA — Effective Monday, December 22 Amador Motors, Prospect Motors and Amador Toyota closed their doors for business.

According to an unidentified company representative who spoke with KCRA 3 Television in Sacramento last weekend, “With the GM product we can´t afford to sell these cars. A car that we would have to pay $40,000 for we could only sell for $35,000 so we would actually lose $5,000 per vehicle sold.”

80 employees have reportedly lost their jobs. The three dealerships are owned by Frank Halvorson who has not been available for comment on the closures.
