Visitors Bureau Celebrates 20 Years

Angels Camp, CA — In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the Calaveras Visitors Bureau is beginning a Celebrate Tourism campaign.

The campaign is aimed at county residents and includes Discover Calaveras events at various county businesses. They could include tours and talks about the business and tourism.

Beginning in April, the Discover Calaveras events will be held every month for six months.

Executive Director Lisa Reynolds says the idea behind Discover Calaveras is to give residents more insight into Calaveras County tourism.

Here is the tentative schedule for the Discover Calaveras:

April 17 – California Caverns, Mountain Ranch

May 23 (tentative) – French Hill Winery, Mokelumne Hill

June 20 (tentative) – Logging Museum, White Pines

July 18 – Angels Camp Resort, Angels Camp

August 15 – Copperopolis Town Square, Copperopolis

September 19 – Millerosa´s Star for a Day, Vallecito
