Jamestown Jail Committee Will Present Concert And Informational Meeting

Jamestown, CA — The Rescue the Jamestown Jail Committee has received over $24,000 in donations.

To keep the ball rolling, committee member Jim O´Neil says a special event has been scheduled for next month. A concert and fund-raiser will be held on April 28th at Railtown 1897. Performing will be theBlack Irish Band.” Train rides will be held at 4:30 and 5:30pm, and the afternoon will also includewestern re-enactments.”

Coming up Wednesday, March 21st, the committee is inviting the public to an informational meeting. It will begin at 5:30pm, in the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors Chambers. The Rescue the Jamestown Jail Committee is raising money to move the historic structure from its current location in Pollardville, back to Rocca Park.
