S.H.S. Golden Regiment Marching Band Departs For Denver

Sonora, CA — Sonora High´s Golden Regiment Marching Band, 202 strong, along with a dozen chaperones filled four buses and departed Sonora at 6:45 this morning.
The destination; Denver where they will be performing in the St. Patrick´s Day Parade Saturday.
Following the parade the band will visit the state capital and visit with Colorado´s new governor Bill Ritter, Jr. whose stepmother played in the Golden Regiment Marching Band and graduated from Sonora High in the class of 1954.
