Conlin To Head New Middle College Program
Sonora, CA — Sonora High School English teacher and Senior Exit Project Coordinator Anatasia Conlin has been named Lead Teacher of the newly established Columbia Middle College program that will open its doors to students for the first time this coming August.
Conlin will be teaching a morning block of three senior-level courses to a group of 11th and 12th grade students on the Columbia College campus and then monitoring the progress of these students as they complete their graduation requirements by enrolling in afternoon and evening college courses.
Students interested in being placed on the waiting list for this fall´s Columbia Middle College should contact Sonora High School Counseling Secretary Colleen Lindsey at 532-5511, ext. 124 or Administrative Assistant Marcella Campbell at 533-8510.
Students who reside outside of Sonora High School attendance boundaries may participate in the middle college program via interdistrict transfer agreements.
