Wild Turkeys Are Playing Havoc With Traffic On Mono Way
Sponsored by:
Sonora, CA — A group of seven wild turkeys has become a traffic hazard along Mono Way.
The group reportedly came out of the Sullivan Creek Canyon and have been spending much of their time near the Mother Lode Motors dealership. At one point, sales representatives Mark Biehl and Shaun Rapp spooked the birds off the busy stretch of road so they would not become road kill. Drivers in the area are asked to travel with caution. At one point this afternoon, the turkeys caused a back up in traffic.
