Zapar Arrested On Public Drunkeness Charge
Sonora, CA — 42 year old James Allen Zapar, Jr. of Sonora spent his Thursday evening in the County Jail after being arrested by Sheriff´s deputies for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Shortly after 9pm deputies were called to a residence on Serrano Rd. because of a disturbance. When they arrived they learned that Zapar was drunk, had refused to leave the property, had kicked in a door and broken a window.
Deputies found the suspect in an overhead camper shell in the rear of the property. Following a struggle Zapar was taken into custody.
Several hours after being jailed he was released on his promise to appear in court.
