Major Injuries Suffered In Saturday Evening Accident

Sonora, CA — Saturday evening at 11:30 26 year old Jere Graham of Twain Harte, driving a 1989 Ford F-250 northbound on Hwy 49 north of Wigwam Rd., crossed over the double yellow line directly into the southbound lane colliding with a 1999 Chevy 1500 driven by 51 year old Stacy Carter of Chinese Camp.
According to the CHP both drivers suffered major injuries. Graham was not wearing his safety restraint device at the time of the accident.
