Son Of San Andreas Fire Chief Reportedly Received Stolen County Truck
San Andreas, Ca — A Calaveras County Sheriff´s Detective has testified that the son of San Andreas´ Fire Chief Erie Donald Young received a stolen vehicle belonging to Calaveras County.
This is according to a report in the Stockton Record. A preliminary hearing for Calaveras County mechanic Lee Rhodes was held yesterday. Rhodes, along with county employees David Sanders and Edwin Hoag II, was arrested earlier this year on charges of theft of county property. The article says that the detective said that DMV records showed that the truck had been re-registered to Erie Donald Young II. Previously, investigators had only said that Rhodes gave the stolen pick-up to a friend´s son.
Rhodes is the first, of the three county workers arrested, to have a preliminary hearing.
