C.H.P. Applauds July 4th Mother Lode Drivers

Jamestown-San Andreas, CA — The Highway Patrol is applauding Mother Lode motorists for their conduct during the July 4th 30 hour Maximum Enforcement Period running from 6pm July 3 through Wednesday midnight.
Officer Brad Schultz in Jamestown reports there were no fatalities in the county. In addition there were only four minor accidents and four arrests for driving under the influence.
In Calaveras County, Officer Jaime Castillo reports no fatalities, no accidents and not a single driving-under-the-influence arrest.
