Record Attendance At Tuolumne County Health Fair
Sonora, Ca — It was a record breaking year for the Tuolumne County Health Fair.
According to County Health Department Registered Nurse Kathy Amos, 4,300 participants stopped by on either Tuesday or Wednesday. A year ago, the event drew a crowd of around 3,500. 3,685 residents took part in the blood draw this year, while last year there were 3,314.
“Word of mouth gets out that this is the place to be,” says Amos. “If you want free healthcare in these times when healthcare is at a premium, then this was the place to come.”
Plans are already being put together for the 30th annual Tuolumne County Health Fair that will take place next fall.
