Sheriff’s Department Investigating Death At Mobile Home Park

Sonora, CA — A Sonora man is dead following a fire at the Cascade Mobile Home Park.
Lieutenant George Ruckman with the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department says at 4:15 yesterday afternoon neighbors of space 90 in the mobile home park visited that residence to check on the welfare of the man living there.
Ruckman says they discovered that there had previously been an unreported fire in the residence and found an adult male dead on the living room floor.
Deputies were called to the scene, along with members of the Fire Investigations Unit and Fire Department personnel to investigate.
The name of the man is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of family members.
